Programme Implementation Methodology

The available ways of implementing the programmes are:

  1. Face-to-face training - in University of Macedonia premises (lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories) with the traditional form of teaching where the simultaneous physical presence of the trainer and the trainees in the classroom is required.
  2. Asynchronous distance (e-Learning) - a teaching process where the simultaneous participation of the trainer and trainees is not required The availability of the educational material and the collaboration between the trainer and the trainee are done through a web platform, using only a simple browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome), from anywhere with internet access.
  3. Synchronous distance e-Learning - a teaching process with simultaneous participation of the trainer and trainees in real time, but where the trainer and trainees are not required to be in the same place. Distance learning takes the form of teleconferencing and the presentations are followed in real time via a web platform, using only a simple browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome), from anywhere with internet access. – a teaching process with the simultaneous participation of the trainer and the trainees in real time, but where the trainer and the trainees are not required to be in the same place. Distance teaching takes place in the form of teleconferences and the monitoring of lectures is done in real time through an online platform, using only a simple browser (eg Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome), from any point with internet access.
  4. Blended Learning - teaching process where the method of face-to-face training and the method of e-learning (synchronous and/or asynchronous) are combined.
