The Programme is addressed to musicians, music educators, graduates and students of university music departments, conservatories and music schools, graduates and students of pedagogical ande nursery departments and other schools of education and training. Kindergarten teachers and nursery workers and in general to teachers or musicians who deal or are going to deal with the musical education of infants and toddlers. Also to people who are interested in theoretical training and cultivating the necessary skills in the field of infant and preschool music education. It is also addressed to parents and other interested parties.

The programme aims at providing theoretical training and specialisation of the participants in the field of infant and preschool music employment and education, so that they acquire the necessary skills for the proper planning of musical activities and the effective use and teaching of music with infants and toddlers. In addition, through training in good practices and standard approaches in music employment and education of infants and toddlers, the educational programme aims to enhance the musical and pedagogical skills of the participants, as well as to bring them into contact with developmentally appropriate repertoire and music education materials.

Prerequisite knowledge - qualifications - skills:

a) Basic level of musical knowledge/skills (basic knowledge of music theory and ability to sing in tune)

b) Satisfactory understanding of the English language: the educational material of the programme will be available in Greek, but some of the articles accompanying the teaching notes may be in English.

c) Internet access and basic computer skills (use of a simple browser e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer).
