Education & Special EducationThe Training and Lifelong Learning Center of the University of Macedonia organizes a distance training program, entitled "TOEFL iBT- Dynamic Advancement Program (FAST-TRACK 2): Fast Training for the TOEFL iBT English as a Foreign Language for Academic Purposes high usability test" duration of 120 hours which will be carried out remotely using the method of synchronous and asynchronous distance learning
This program operates on a five-week schedule, comprising two 3-hour instructional sessions per week for four weeks, followed by one week focused solely on assessment.
o The program is designed for participants who seek dynamic training and practice in the format, content (question types), strategies, and techniques of all four sections comprising the TOEFL iBT standardized test.
o Each week, we focus on a COMPLETE TOEFL TEST encompassing all four sections. During each session, we concentrate on two sections (Session 1: Reading & Listening, Session 2: Speaking & Writing), utilizing templates to refine test strategy and engaging in dynamic, interactive test simulation tasks.
o At the end of each week, participants will complete an online test covering all sections.
o Upon completing the program, participants will take a Comprehensive TOEFL iBT for final assessment.
o Throughout the program, participants will accumulate valuable test- taking experience by completing a total of 8 comprehensive TOEFL tests.

- Candidates who wish to study in undergraduate and postgraduate programs of national or foreign higher education institutions
- Applicants for certifications and scholarships
- Students and professionals applying for a visa abroad
- Applicants for English language learning programs (as a placement or final exam)
- English students who wish to improve and/or check their learning progress
- Educators, Professionals and students in the field of Foreign Language Education
- Higher Education Teachers who teach in international English-language programs (e.g. Erasmus)
·To provide learners with a substantial and dynamic familiarity with the structure and content of the TOEFL iBT test.
·To educate on optimal knowledge and time management strategies for completing the TOEFL iBT Test.
·To be a fast-track training and practice program in the individual sections of the TOEFL iBT for learners with a high level of knowledge of the English language who, as candidates, need a rapid familiarization with the structure and content of the TOEFL iBT.
·To be a dynamic start-up, training and familiarization program with the TOEFL iBT Test for students with a borderline or lower than required level of English who will need to further upgrade their skills for a higher score.
·To evaluate/certify current and acquired knowledge and skills of learners in a variety of scientific topics in English as a Foreign Language using the TOEFL iBT test as a tool.
·To develop a better understanding of intercultural differences in international academic settings
·To enhance confidence and the ability of written and oral expression in international academic and professional environments
·To propose strategies to improve the teaching and examination of the English language (and in general the Foreign Language)
