Tο Κέντρο Επιμόρφωσης και Δια Βίου Μάθησης του Πανεπιστήμιου Μακεδονίας, διοργανώνει Πρόγραμμα Επιμόρφωσης, με τίτλο «Εκπαίδευση Ατόμων με Αυτισμό, χρήση Υποστηρικτικής Τεχνολογίας και Συμβουλευτική Στήριξη», διάρκειας 460 ωρών το οποίο θα πραγματοποιηθεί με τη μέθοδο της μεικτής εκπαίδευσης μέσω πλατφόρμας σύγχρονης και ασύγχρονης τηλεκπαίδευσης.

The programme is addressed to teachers, speech therapists, special educators, psychologists, social workers, sociologists, parents of children with autism spectrum disorders, doctors and paediatricians and specialists in various scientific fields who work or will work in general schools of primary and secondary education, in special schools, in Special Vocational Education and Training Workshops (ΕΕΕΚ) and in Centres of Educational and Counselling Support (KESY).

The purpose of the training programme is:


  • will acquire theoretical knowledge
  • will learn about education, support for people with autism and their family members
  • will acquire practical knowledge on the implementation of educational programmes, management of behavioural outbursts, assessment of people with autism, alternative communication, as well as their social inclusion
  • will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge on the use of software and assistive technology means for the development of skills in people with autism.
  • Access to the curriculum, adaptation of teaching objectives, use of virtual environments

The learning objectives of the programme are:

  1. Asynchronous distance (e-Learning) - a teaching process where the simultaneous participation of the trainer and trainees is not required The availability of the educational material and the collaboration between the trainer and the trainee are done through a web platform, using only a simple browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome), from anywhere with internet access.
  2. Synchronous distance e-Learning - a teaching process with simultaneous participation of the trainer and trainees in real time, but where the trainer and trainees are not required to be in the same place. Distance learning takes the form of teleconferencing and the presentations are followed in real time via a web platform, using only a simple browser (e.g. (π.χ. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome), from anywhere with internet access.
