Tο Κέντρο Επιμόρφωσης και Δια Βίου Μάθησης του Πανεπιστήμιου Μακεδονίας, διοργανώνει εξ αποστάσεως Πρόγραμμα Επιμόρφωσης, με τίτλο «TOEFL iBT- Dynamic Induction Program (FAST-TRACK 1): Ταχύρρυθμη Επιμόρφωση για το τεστ υψηλής χρηστικότητας TOEFL iBT Αγγλικής ως Ξένης Γλώσσας για Ακαδημαϊκούς Σκοπούς» διάρκειας 90 ωρών το οποίο θα πραγματοποιηθεί εξ αποστάσεως με την μέθοδο της σύγχρονης και ασύγχρονης τηλεκπαίδευσης.

This program operates on a five-week schedule, comprising two 3-hour instructional sessions per week for four weeks, followed by one week focused solely on assessment.
o The program is designed for participants who want to dynamically familiarize themselves with the format and strategies of the four sections that comprise the TOEFL iBT standardized test.
o Every week, we concentrate on the question types of a specific section (Week 1: Reading, Week 2: Listening, Week 3: Speaking, Week 4: Writing), providing analysis, demonstrations, answer templates, and practice in answer techniques.

o After completing each Weekly Section, participants will take an online test specific to that section. o At the conclusion of the program, participants will sit for a comprehensive TOEFL iBT assessment.
o Over the course of the program, participants will progressively accumulate valuable test-taking experience by completing a total of 3 comprehensive TOEFL tests.

The Program is addressed to:

  • Candidates who wish to study in undergraduate and postgraduate programs of national or foreign higher education institutions
  • Applicants for certifications and scholarships
  • Students and professionals applying for a visa abroad
  • Applicants for English language learning programs (as a placement or final exam)
  • English students who wish to improve and/or check their learning progress
  • Educators, Professionals and students in the field of Foreign Language Education
  • Higher Education Teachers who teach in international English-language programs (e.g. Erasmus)

·To provide learners with a substantial and dynamic familiarity with the structure and content of the TOEFL iBT test.

·To educate on optimal knowledge and time management strategies for completing the TOEFL iBT Test.

·To be a fast-track training and practice program in the individual sections of the TOEFL iBT for learners with a high level of knowledge of the English language who, as candidates, need a rapid familiarization with the structure and content of the TOEFL iBT.

·To be a dynamic start-up, training and familiarization program with the TOEFL iBT Test for students with a borderline or lower than required level of English who will need to further upgrade their skills for a higher score.

·To evaluate/certify current and acquired knowledge and skills of learners in a variety of scientific topics in English as a Foreign Language using the TOEFL iBT test as a tool.

·To develop a better understanding of intercultural differences in international academic settings

·To enhance confidence and the ability of written and oral expression in international academic and professional environments

·To propose strategies to improve the teaching and examination of the English language (and in general the Foreign Language)
