Management & MarketingThe Training and Lifelong Learning Center of the University of Macedonia organizes a distance learning program entitled "Agricultural entrepreneurship and innovation for sustainable development" lasting 35 hours which will be carried out remotely using the asynchronous distance learning method
The Program is addressed to:
- To farmers, workers and others involved in the primary and the interconnected secondary production sector.
- To final students and graduates of economics, agriculture and other related schools.
- To those who wish to develop and strengthen their knowledge and skills regarding entrepreneurship and innovation in the agri-food sector.
·To promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the agri-food sector.
·To enhance knowledge about the primary production sector and develop the entrepreneurial skills of stakeholders.
Contribute to networking in order to create employment opportunities for those who attend, taking into account the competitive advantages of the Central Macedonia region in the primary and interconnected secondary production sector.
The educational program seeks to ensure the sustainability of the projects "Business of knowledge and innovation in the primary and related secondary sector", Project Acronym: Bu4Inno, Financed by the Cooperation Programme"Interreg V-A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020" and "Agribusiness innovation: A pathway to sustainable economic development", Project Acronym: RENAISSANCE, INTERREG IPA CBC Greece – the Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020", which are implemented with the participation of the University of Macedonia (Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies / Research Committee), beyond the typical duration of the projects' implementation. In this context, it will be offered to 30 interested parties without charge for participation costs on an annual basis and for the next 2 years.
The presenters of the Programs are members of the Teaching and Scientific Staff (DEP) of the University of Macedonia as well as external collaborators and executives with many years of experience, but also specialized theoretical knowledge.
